We look after your family's health
Did you know that Medicare supports GPs to provide comprehensive health assessments for the following people;
- People aged 45-49 who are at risk of developing a chronic condition.
- People aged 40-49 who may be at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.
- People aged 75yrs and older
- Permanent residents of aged care facilities.
- People with an intellectual disability.
- Refugee and other humanitarian entrants to Australia.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who are less than 15 years old.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults who are aged 15 years and over but under the age of 55 years.
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander older people who are aged 55 years and over.
During these in-depth health assessments, we will discuss your health history and arrange examinations, such as blood tests. We will help you set goals for your health and offer integrative support to achieve those goals.
If you have never had a health assessment, are in one of the above-mentioned groups, and would like to book a health assessment, please let reception know you need a long appointment time so we can be thorough in assessing your health needs.
